Survivor Soul Speaks is a collection of poems by Literary Activist and Author Yasmeen. From the innovent imagination days of childhood to the dark expeirences of commerical sexual exploitation; Yasmeen's poetry explores her journey through abuse, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, racism, homelessness, and survival in and escape from sex trafficking.
 
Her work is an expression of reclaiming sacred power. A survivor rising as a Goddess thriving despite adversity in a prejudiced, patriarchal society. Through emotional, psychological, physical, and spritual healing, Yasmeen embarks on a profound journey of restoration.
 
This book is more than poetry. It is a journey of a Black woman's rise to wellness and personal power through healing, recovery, advocacy, activism, community, and creativity.
